Old Timer's Historical Fair
* Matlock, Mary M. Knight school, Saturday 10 AM - 6 PM, Sunday 10 AM - 4 PM. Admission, parking and attendance at all attractions, entertainment, displays and events is totally free to this unique fair! Features an authentic Civil War-era military camp, Dutch-oven cooking, a reproduction of a mountain-man camp, expert horse backpacking encampments and black-powder shooting demonstrations. Continuous live entertainment, kids train rides, FFA plant and starter vegetable sale, antique and classic cars, tractors and steam engines (you probably won't see the miniature steam engines anywhere else) and much, much more. (First weekend each May)

May 10th
Grapeview Day
* There will be floats, Fire Trucks, and old cars. As usual there will be many arts and crafts vendors, food booths with hot dogs, pop, strawberry short cake, and more. Family fun for everyone. 5 K fun run at 8:45 AM. The Kids parade starts at 10:30 and the big parade at 11:00; Grapeview Fire Hall, contact (360) 427-6421 or (360) 275-4483. (Second Saturday each May)

Mother's Day Rhodie Show* *free* event at the Mason County Fairgrounds, Shelton

June 7th, 8th & 9th (tentative)
Mason County Forest Festival parade with 120 units, Queen coronation ceremony, BBQ food, music; all-day event in downtown Shelton (First weekend after Memorial Day).

July 4th, 5th & 6th
Celebrate Hoodsport, community street fair, live band street dance, auction, wine tasting at Hoodsport Winery, fireworks Saturday in Hoodsport (4th of July weekend)

July 5th
Tahuya Day and Parade
*, 10 AM to 4 PM, parade starts at 1 PM, in beautiful downtown Tahuya. Come and see our wonderful Dewatto Can't March Band and Drill Team! [See Scrapbook page!] (First Saturday each July)

July 12th & 13th (tentative)
Antique Farm Engine and Tractor Show,
9 AM to 5 PM, Mason County Fairgrounds, Shelton

Allyn Days Salmon Bake and Fair, Port of Allyn Waterfront Park. Expanding to 2 full days this year! (3rd weekend each July)

* Community street fair sponsored by the North Mason Rotary Club on Clifton Lane in Belfair. Features food booths including grilled oysters, wine tasting, 2 micro-breweries, custom and classic car show, arts and crafts booths, family entertainment and live music. 10 AM to 6 PM

Tahuya Salmon Bake
, Tahuya Fire hall, 1 PM to 5 PM. Fire District 8 Firefighters Association and the Tahuya Community Club offer fresh-caught salmon, baked potato, coleslaw, picked beets, garlic bread, cake, lemonade, iced tea and coffee for $10, $5 for children.

October 4th & 5th
Oysterfest - West Coast Oyster Shucking Championship & Washington State Seafood Festival, Mason County Fairgrounds, Shelton, 10 AM to 6 PM (First full weekend in October)
