CRT team members are community volunteers who respond to various types of emergencies which occur in their respective areas. They are equipped with first aid kits, and emergency radios. Each member is issued an emergency tone pager with which they receive initial information. Some members are issued radios to transmit valuable information to incoming emergency units.




The Tahuya River Valley - Dewatto CRT meets on the first Saturday of each month at the Port of Dewatto Building, 2501 NE Dewatto Road at 9:00AM. The sessions are designed to train CRT members in topics such as: first aid, disaster preparedness, incident command, scene size up, and traffic control.
