Regular Meeting
January 2, 2007

Chairperson Lynett McLean called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. Commissioner Larraine Kelly, Commissioner Robert Stevens and Port Manager Chris Phalen were in attendance.

Guests Present: None

Consent Items:

1. Motion was made and seconded to accept minutes of November 7, 2006. Motion carried.

2. Vouchers: motion was made and seconded to accept vouchers for January as prepared. Motion carried.

Since the Port changes the chairperson every two years, Commissioner Lynett McLean is our new Chairperson.

Unfinished Business:

1. Campground Port Manager Chris Phalen reported depositing $64.71 from DNR for long distant phone calls from the fire and $180.00 from campground. She also added that the Park is very quite at this time.

2. Web site: No report on web site, since Ken Jarstad didn’t attend the meeting.

3. Land Clearing: Commissioner Kelly said she still has not been able to contact Dale Hall. Chairperson McLean was asked to talk to Mark about cutting the timber to see if he had any ideas. Port Manager Chris Phalen was going to contact Gary Hintz who is a logger from Seabeck.

4. Emergency Box: Commissioner Kelly was going to check on the box and price.

New Business

1. NSF Check Policy:  Port just got a copy of the NSF check policy the county adopted. A motion was made for the Port to adopt the same policy. Motion carried. Anyone bouncing a check from now on will be charged $30.00

2. Office Chairs:  Commissioner Kelly and Port Manager Chris Phalen will check on 5 new office chairs for the Commissioners.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.

Our next meeting will be February 6th at 7:00 p.m.
