Regular Meeting

April 1, 2008

Chairperson Lynett McLean called meeting to order at 7:00p.m.Commissioner Robert D. Stevens and Port Manager Chris Phalen were in attendance. Commissioner Richard T. Edwards was absent.

Guests Present: Donald McDonald

Consent Items:

1. Motion was made and seconded to accept minutes of

March 4, 2008.

Motion carried.

2. Vouchers: motion was made and seconded to accept vouchers

for April 2008 as prepared.

Motion carried.

Unfinished Business:

1. Campground:

Port Manager Chris Phalen reported deposited $350.00 in Shelton from campground. Petty cash is at $1,627.53 and have $200.00 in bank. General funds are $41,943.87 and have $100,00.00 in investments making a total of $141,943.87. Port Manager Phalen also said she was going to transfer $10,000.00 from general funds to the investment funds, because the tax money will be coming in the next month.

2. Website:

Ken Jarstad was not present, so we have no report.

3. Land Clearing:

Port Manager Chris Phalen said the lady called her the day after the meeting and said they were in the area working and would be starting in two weeks. We are still waiting.

4. The Renaissance Fair:

The Renaissance Fair coming to Belfair was discussed. Everyone thought that might bring in some campers for the Park.

Our next meeting will be May 6, 2008 at 6:30 p.m.
