Special Meeting

August 30, 2011

Chairperson Richard T. Edwards called meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. Commissioner Lynett McLean and Port Manager Chris Phalen were in attendance.

Guests Present: Ex-Commissioner Pennie Edwards and Monica Harle

This special meeting was called to interview Monica Harle for the Commissioner seat that was left open after the passing of Commissioner Stevens.

After a lot of questions and answers from both sides, Motion was made and seconded to appoint Monica Harle to become the Port’s new Commissioner.

Motion carried.

Commissioner Harle can not make the meetings on the first Tuesday, so Motion was made to change the meeting to the first Wednesday of each month starting in October.

Motion carried.

Meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m.

Our next meeting will be September 6, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.
